My Uncommon Sense

VC-25- White House look and find!

In case you live under a rock, there was a “mission” over New York City on April 27th where Air Force One flew a VC-25 jet in low by the Goldman Sachs building. The “mission” was later said to be a photo op, and what a wonderful one it must have been. I can just imagine the photo: Huge jet flying low over New York, with thousands of people panicking below. The White House later decided to classify the images. A simple question arises: Why? There were thousands of pictures taken by the public, along with video. Hot Air says it pretty well:

I can understand why the White House would choose not to use the pictures, and remind everyone of the almost-criminal stupidity of the Obama administration in doing flybys of New York City skyscrapers with a big jet plane without warning people. But keeping them classified? We have plenty of shots in the public domain of Scare Force One buzzing terrified New Yorkers, most of them taken by the people who wondered whether al-Qaeda had launched another attack on the city. The stupidity of this public-relations mission has already leaked to the public.

Speaking of which, has Obama fired the person responsible for this idiocy? Apparently not; Louis Caldera, the man who approved this mission, still runs the White House Military Office.

However, Obama seeing that the people already know of the massive screw up along with having plenty of evidence of it, now decided today that the photos should be released. Flip-flopping is bad enough when it comes to principles, but even the small decisions are now tripping up the administration. It is a simple question: Should we classify the photos? Answer: No because there would be absolutely no point.

Check out the video. It eerily reminds me of 9/11. Silly Scare Force One, low fly overs are for terrorists.
