Independence Day- Back to square one

id4white On the day of great nation’s birth, I cannot help but wonder if those who fought and gave their lives for its creation and protection would have done so if they were able to see what America has become 233 years later. A nation built upon the idea that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. Governments, as our founding fathers explain, are created with the consent of the governed in order to protect these unalienable rights.

No longer is the once heralded conviction that Liberty and Life have immeasurable value. As seen by the DHS report, even the preference of liberty has become frowned upon. While it still isn’t considered taboo, those who prefer limited federal power are a dying breed. Life is no longer valued, as shown by the way in which so many throw away their own lives and possibly even legally taking their own child’s life.

As for our own government, well, how about you be the judge. A few quotes:

I would gladly lay down my life ten times over for America. I am less and less willing each day to give my life to this nation, but for America, I’d do anything. It is a simple fact that this nation is no longer America. It has become a cesspool of infidelity and abuse between the government and the people. Do not stand quietly by as your government decides what is best for you. Stand up and make yourself heard. This is not a government of leaders but a government of the people.

Fight for yourself, your children, and America. Liberty is on the march.
